This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks on vehicle bodies in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.

Overview

This course also provides:

Learning Resources: Fully equipped Autobody Repair and Refinishing workshop with various model vehicles and panels. Autobody repair and refinish tools and equipment.

Learner Support –Learners will sit a LLN (Language, literacy and numeracy) assessment and support will be provided as required.

Course outcomes include:

  • The skills to perform a range of fundamental automotive repair tasks
  • Knowledge around current industry standards to develop your repair and restoration skills on a range of car models
  • Strong pathways to continue your studies and enhance your career opportunities via way of an apprenticeship in:
    • Certificate III Automotive Body Repair Technology
    • Certificate III Automotive Refinishing Technology
