  • Cookies are small files that are placed on your computer, mobile device, or any other device by a website, containing the details of your browsing history on that website among its many uses.
  • Country refers to: Australia
  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a mobile phone, or a digital tablet.
  • Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • Resume Kit refers to the YouthXP online resume creator.
  • Service refers to the Website.
  • Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analysing how the Service is used.
  • Talent Pool refers to the search function where Advertisers can search for prospective candidates.
  • Third-party Social Media Service refers to any website or any social network website through which a User can log in or create an account to use the Service.
  • Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated using the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).
  • Visitor, User or You refers to Advertisers, Candidates or any other Individual browsing the YouthXP website.
  • Website refers to YouthXP, accessible from https://youthxp.com.au/
  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

 

Collecting and Using your Personal Data

While using Our Service, We may ask you to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Phone number
  • Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
  • Usage Data



Online Applications

Candidates can register and create their profile at no cost. Information required includes Full Name, Email and Telephone Number which will be provided to the Employer making contact.

 

If a Candidate applies for a job, they will be required to register as a User of the Service.

 

Upon applying for job on the website, the Candidates resume, attachments and other information will be forwarded to the Advertiser and or their nominated representative. This information will be stored on the YouthXP Database on behalf of the Advertiser. YouthXP will retain this information to assist in the process of customising services applicable the candidate.

Advertisers may require answers to additional questions as part of the application process. Your answers will become part of your profile and will populate the Talent Pool area of the website.

By applying to a position advertised on YouthXP you are requesting that YouthXP pass the information you provide to the relevant Advertiser and/or their nominated representative. Questions you have that apply to a position advertised on YouthXP, your online application and/or the status of your application should be directed directly to the Advertiser or their nominated agent, not YouthXP. YouthXP reserves the right to disable or delete a saved resume or cover letter at its discretion.

 

Advertisers are required by YouthXP to comply with all applicable laws, including relevant obligations relating to the use and disclosure of Personal Information that are outlined in the Privacy Act and any other relevant laws, including those governing health information. The use of Candidates information (personal or otherwise) by these Advertisers is not within the control of YouthXP and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of these companies.

Candidates have the right to directly contact Advertisers to request access to any Personal Information that you have sent as part of an application or that has been provided to them as part of a YouthXP Profile.

 

In some circumstances, sending your YouthXP Profile with an application will be required.

In order to apply for some job opportunities, some or all of your YouthXP Profile will be required to be shared with the Advertiser. When this is required, notwithstanding the privacy setting chosen by you when creating your YouthXP Profile Visibility, both your online application and some or all of your YouthXP Profile (which can include information submitted by you in connection with your employment, educational history, contact details, minimum salary expectations, vaccination status and preferred job classifications and locations) will be shared with the Advertiser.


Resume Kit

The YouthXP website provides Candidates with an opportunity to utilise the online Resume Kit. We aim to maintain the highest security standards in relation to the storage of this information as per this Privacy Policy.

 

If a candidate uploads their resume without use of the resume kit, this will be held under the Candidates account. It is the responsibility of the account holder to remove any private data that they do not want accessible to YouthXP, the YouthXP system and potential Advertisers. 

 

Talent Pool 

All data provided from within the resume kit will be accessible to all Advertisers via the Talent Pool search system. It is the responsibility of the User to opt out of this feature by updating their preferences under their Profile Visibility.

 

YouthXP holds no liability once the Advertiser has the Candidates information.

Advertisers

YouthXP will collect information relating to Advertisers including the Business Name, Business address, billing address and their Contact Details. YouthXP will additionally collect the name, email address and phone number of a primary contact (administrator). Advertisers can choose to add additional users to their account, in which case YouthXP will collect the name and email address of those other users. YouthXP uses these details to manage your account, including sending Advertisers applications of Candidates, contacting Advertisers if there is an issue with their job ad and organising payment and invoicing of the account.


Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile devices unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We may also collect information that Your browser sends whenever You visit our Service or when You access the Service by or through a mobile device.


Information from Third-Party Social Media Services

The Company allows You to create an account and log in to use the Service through the following Third-party Social Media Services:

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Twitter


If You decide to register through or otherwise grant us access to a Third-Party Social Media Service, We may collect Personal data that is already associated with Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account, such as Your name, Your email address, Your activities or Your contact list associated with that account.

You may also have the option of sharing additional information with the Company through Your Third-Party Social Media Service's account. Third Party Tracking

YouthXP my utilise third party services to collect information regarding the usage of the YouthXP website. This may include page impressions, unique visitors to the website, time spend on website pages and other non-personal information.


Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
  • To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
  • For the talent pool search features in which Advertisers can search for candidates that are registered on the YouthXP website.
  • For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.
  • To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products, or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.
  • To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services, and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.
  • To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.
  • For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganisation, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

Other information YouthXP may collect
YouthXP may also collect and use information about your job requirements, your searches, job seeking characteristics and priorities by collecting and analysing data about how you use, or interact with, the products and services offered on the Site. This can include usage patterns when you submit job applications and profile updates. YouthXP may use this information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Statement to better tailor YouthXP’s offerings to your job requirements.

YouthXP Mail

YouthXP may provide you with information relating to our products and services, featured jobs and Advertisers.

Users may opt out of receiving emails by clicking on ‘unsubscribe’ in the email received.


Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

The User is responsible for notifying YouthXP if there is any unauthorised use of your account or breach of security.

YouthXP continually logs significant system events through the Information System. Our audit logs are protected from unauthorised access or modification and are retained for an appropriate period of time based on YouthXP’s requirements.


Encryption of data being stored and transmitted

YouthXP will make every attempt to configure and support encryption where it is needed on our platform. Any time YouthXP’s protected data or YouthXP’s sensitive data is placed on a medium such as a CD, DVD, or portable drive to facilitate a physical transfer, either entirely within YouthXP or between YouthXP and a 3rd party, the data must be encrypted. Archiving YouthXP Protected data or YouthXP Sensitive data to a physical medium is not recommended but is permitted if the data is encrypted. All archiving should be done electronically so that it is stored in a controlled data centre and backed up by an IT provider.


Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance

YouthXP is committed to ensuring the security and confidentiality of payment card information entrusted to us by our customers. As part of our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of data security, we do not store or process payments directly on our site, instead we have partnered with Stripe Online, and all transactions are processed via an encrypted link from our website to their online payment portal. This portal remains fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).


Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Upon registering as a Candidate or Advertiser on the YouthXP website, subscribe to YouthXP, submit an application for a job and/or post a job advertisement, YouthXP may collect information that personally identifies you. This information can be deleted at any time.

 

Candidates who submit job applications must be aware that upon receiving their job application, Advertisers may hold that information. The Advertiser should be contact directly for any enquiries relating to this.

 

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 15. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that we have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 15 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

If we need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, we may require Your parent's consent before we collect and use that information.
