Overview

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Senior Property Manager in overseeing and managing day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
  2. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and adherence to safety regulations.
  3. Assist with tenant inquiries and address concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  4. Assist in the leasing process, including showing available units to prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
  5. Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to schedule and oversee repairs and maintenance tasks.
  6. Maintain accurate records of rent payments, expenses, and maintenance requests using property management software.
  7. Conduct market research to stay updated on rental rates, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  8. Support marketing efforts by assisting in the creation of property listings and online advertisements.
  9. Stay informed about local and state laws, regulations, and requirements related to property management and ensure compliance.
  10. Continuously learn and enhance skills through training programs and self-study to grow professionally within the field.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. No prior experience in property management required.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  5. Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  7. Proficient in using computers and familiarity with property management software is a plus.
  8. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  9. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain professional relationships with tenants, colleagues, and vendors.
